Introduction
If you've decided you want to try Shilajit, the next question is which format to choose. At Purevie, we offer two: our Purified Shilajit Resin and our Shilajit Honey Sticks. Both contain the same quality of responsibly sourced, GMP-manufactured Shilajit. But they suit different people and different lifestyles, and knowing the difference will help you choose correctly from the start.
The Resin: Traditional, Concentrated, Unadulterated
Shilajit resin is Shilajit in its closest-to-natural form. Our Purified Shilajit Resin contains Asphaltum Exd, the Ayurvedic classical term for Shilajit, purified using triphala concoction as per Rasatarangini AFI-I. Nothing else. No additives, no fillers, no flavouring.
To use the resin, you take a small pea-sized amount (approximately 250mg), dissolve it in lukewarm water or warm milk, and drink. The classical Ayurvedic recommendation is warm kesar (saffron) milk. The preparation takes about 60 seconds. You do this twice a day.
The Resin is for you if:
- You prefer a traditional Ayurvedic approach and want to engage with the ritual of preparation
- You want pure, unadulterated Shilajit with the fewest possible additional ingredients
- You want the most cost-effective format, at £19.99 for 20g, approximately 50 days of supply
- You already have some experience with Shilajit and want to live healthy life
The Honey Sticks: Convenient, Consistent, Ready to Go
Our Shilajit Honey Sticks blend responsibly sourced Shilajit with organic honey in an individually portioned stick. Each pack contains 30 sticks, a two-week daily supply. To use, you simply tear open the stick and consume directly, or mix into a warm drink. Total preparation time: five seconds.
